Our goal is enhance the beauty of your artwork, to preserve the integrity of the art, and incorporate your taste and style.

We start by asking you questions to guide our direction. We listen to you and share our ideas. Then, together we can arrive at excellent solutions with an efficiency that respects your valuable time.

Key points in framing selection:

Frames and mats that are too narrow make art appear crowded and diminish the perceived value. Wider mats enhance presentation and value of art and help offset the visual weight of the frame.
We use archival materials, such as 100% cotton rag mat board, to counteract environmental acids and air pollution that may damage art.
Don’t be fooled—mat boards labeled “acid-free” may be made from wood pulp and will not protect against heat and light damage.
If there is no air between the art and glass, condensation will form and cause mold, mildew, or other damage. A mat or spacer keeps the surface of art away from the glass to protect from such damage.

Hinges are hidden attachments between art and the backing board. Hinges should not have any acidic content and should be easily removable without damage to the art.

Prevent fading with conservation glass that filters out up to 99% of ultraviolet rays, and will protect art from fading due to sunlight and artificial light.

A paper dustcover on the back of the frame will help keep out dust and tiny insects, while allowing the artwork to breathe.

It is not a good idea to hang art where it will be exposed to excessive sunlight, heat, or dampness.
Clean carefully. Lay art flat to prevent liquid cleaners from leaking into the frame. Use a non-abrasive cleaner or a glass cleaner made specifically for art. Spray cleaner into a soft, lint-free cloth. Do NOT spray directly onto the glass. (Never use glass cleaner on acrylic.)
