About BRIO Artist:  Dwight Walles

DWIGHT WALLES has spent a lifetime sketching and creating. Working in oil, watercolor, and gouache, Dwight focuses on people and landscapes. Using art as a communication tool and working from his light-filled studio at Apple Canyon Lake, he is focused on achieving expression through his fine art. He has illustrated children’s books, book covers, designed logos and brochures – all of which have been a challenge and an expression of his love for art.
An active member of the Galena Artists Guild, Dwight has used his graphic expertise to establish an identity for the Guild, designing the newsletter, website, and gallery logo. He also created our distinctive BRIO logo.
