BRIO Art Gallery, opened at 116 South Main Street, Galena IL in April 2008. 

THE CAT

A valued member of the gallery staff, Colby reigns over the premises. He is famous for conducting tours of the upper galleries. He loves belly rubs and will take all the attention you are willing to give him. However, he disappears for a couple hours in the afternoons for his daily nap.

THE ARTISTS

We have carefully selected  more than 30 local, regional, and national artists to bring you unique, quality art at reasonable prices.  Demonstrations, gallery talks, and receptions give you the opportunity to meet the artists.  And, to the delight of customers and staff, some artists pop in the gallery unannounced from time to time.

THE OWNERMarsha Rinetti learned to love and appreciate art from her mother who was an artist and art instructor.  "BRIO is a relaxed, friendly gallery.  We want everyone to have a memorable and fun experience here, whether they purchase or not.  We bring new items into the gallery on a regular basis, so our customers always have a fresh experience." 

The private courtyard is a favorite of artists and customers.  Lush with ferns in warm weather and aglow with little white lights after dark, artist demonstrations and social gatherings are often held here.
