Beth does not use models, preferring that her ideas come from imagination.
She loves to draw and her sketches are the starting point for her paintings. She sees two kinds of artists— one is able to effectively represent what they see, the other can effectively represent what they think.

“It’s seeing and thinking. An artist who can do both is pure genius.”
Beth sees herself as one who draws what she thinks.
She may do 40 or 50 drawings before she finds the “right” one to work into a finished piece. Once she selects the right drawing, she is committed to the image and it becomes a labor of love.
Beth’s Muse is the inner voice that whispers interesting ideas in her ear, tells her to loosen up, and reminds her to work with her ideas and not be concerned with how others will perceive her art.
